Supervised by: Jessica Smith, MA, LMFT
*Available for Telehealth only*
I am passionate about supporting adult clients (18+, telehealth only) through the many seasons of life, especially during times of transition that can feel overwhelming or distressing. As a person-centered psychotherapist, my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and shame-free space where clients feel comfortable exploring their challenges. Together, we work toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding. My hope is for each client to feel truly seen, heard, and supported. I bring care, compassion, kindness, and—when appropriate—humor into the therapeutic relationship.
My clinical interests include depression, anxiety, self-esteem and confidence, adjustment to life transitions, grief and bereavement, caregiving challenges, trauma, and recovery from sexual abuse. I also have experience supporting individuals within the LGBTGEQIAP+ community, clients impacted by HIV/AIDS, breast cancer, and terminal illness, as well as families and loved ones of sex offenders. In addition, I provide sex offender aftercare treatment.
Friends often describe me as attentive, caring, a good listener, and sometimes funny. Outside of my work, I enjoy music, walking, hiking, biking, connecting with others, and spending time near water.
Credentials:
I hold an LPC-S license in the State of Minnesota and am currently under supervision while I work toward my LPCC licensure, which requires 4,000 clinical hours. I also hold a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management.
