Brianna Reak, MA, LPCC
Outpatient Therapist
Individual Therapy Ages 18+
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I utilize evidenced-based practices to help clients identify and build upon their strengths, recognize unhelpful thought patterns, and develop healthy behavioral habits. I place tremendous value on the therapist-client relationship, believing nothing is more important than cultivating a strong, trusting connection. I am committed to creating an environment that is one of active listening, empathy, empowerment, collaboration, appropriate humor, and support.
My therapeutic style is influenced by several models, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), motivational interviewing (MI), narrative therapy, and mindfulness.
My areas of interest include depression, anxiety, personal growth, OCD, ADHD, adjustments/life transitions, emotional regulation, PTSD, disordered eating, difficulties in relationships, issues with self-esteem/confidence, and attachment. I aim to create space for a collaborative approach to explore new ways to overcoming obstacles.
